3 Tips On Diabetes Control

Diabetes is a deadly metabolic disorder that can be eliminated forever if only you can apply the principles and act accordingly. Why live an unhealthy life and deprive yourself of life’s goodness. Why torture your body with medications that serve only to kill you? These diabetic medications attack the body cells continuously albeit controlling your blood sugar level to some extent.

All you need to do is to take the following three steps:

1. Start on a clean plate and evaluate all food that you eat. Do not take foods that contain sugar in whatever form. Read the food labels when you next go shopping for your groceries. A simple carbohydrate that breaks down immediately into sugar must be avoided. Do not consume flour-based foods, for example cakes, pastas, and bread. Try to reduce your intake of rice and other form of starches. You are allowed moderate intake of protein and fat.

You are at liberty to consume meat, fish, fowl, vegetables and eggs. What else do you want? These are already considered appetizing foods and this is where you can enjoy yourself to eating towards a healthy lifestyle.

2. Do not live a sedentary life. Activate your body. You do not have to do strenuous exercise or pumping iron. All you need to do is ensure that your body cells avail themselves to oxygen. Move around, do household chores, do gardening, mowing, et cetera. Spend less time being inactive in front of the TV. The exercise will ensure the body cells get sensitized easily to insulin thereby enabling good blood glucose control.

3. I always encourage everyone to get a good set of a multi vitamin and mineral supplement every day. You cannot get enough of these from your daily foods. The advantages to your body are great and supplements will add on more years to your life. You only have one life to live and why not live to the fullest.

With these basic steps, your life will be full of fun. Take charge of your life. The above principles have been proven for years and we should not wait any longer. Just do it.
