My reasons are that I have to take many pills every day
I know, water, water everywhere, but which water is best for my needs? My choice is to drink only distilled water. These are my reasons.
I have to swallow numerous capsules every day. When I say a lot, I mean 42-45 pills a day. That’s a lot. I have to make sure that I take all of these pills without getting to sick to take them.
For example, I have osteoporosis and have had to get down calcium capsules daily
Due to the drugs I have had to take, complications have arisen. I have to swallow more pills that treat these side-effects. By way of example, I have gotten osteoporosis and have been required to swallow calcium tablets every day. This resulted from all of the Prednisone, because I have had Crohns for two decades. Now, I must take two additional calcium osteoporosis pills to help with my osteoporosis. That is the reason why I must get down a great number of drugs daily. When taking my pills, I am often distracted by the chemicals that have been added to the water that flows out of our pipes.
I do not understand it, but this area seems to have water with a high chlorine level. I can taste it easily. I get legally required and published water analyses that tell me the district’s water has a lot of chemical additives. I’m pretty shocked by this.
I expect that the water has chemicals, because the water flows over rocks. However, I worry a lot about the additives. The water district services a large population, and they want to make certain that our tap water is safe to drink. Pay attention to the water quality reports that come with your water bill, and you’ll see what I mean. Sometimes I would rather not know, yet I would rather know what is in the water.
With distilled water, I can get down all my drugs, supplements and vitamins
Several years ago my brother arrived for a holiday and we talked about water quality. Since he travels a lot, and he commented that he usually brings distilled water. I asked him why distilled? He commented that it is the water knows is pure. Besides, anyone can purchase distilled water in any market.
I thought that was interesting. I had only used distilled water for ironing. After this conversation, I’ve had even more intestinal problems. Because of these problems, I now have to swallow an increased number of pills. To deal with the nutritional side effects of Crohn’s Disease, I also must get down vitamins and supplements, including multivitamins and iron along with a calcium pyruvate 750 mg supplement following my doctor’s orders.
Because of Crohn’s Disease, I’m very affected by odors that cause me to get sick. As a result, it is best for me to drink only distilled water, because I must always take all my drugs and supplements each day.
